The Library of Congress Packard Campus on Mount Pony will be closed this weekend in observance of Independence Day.
The 200-seat theater continues its free public programming July 9 at 7:30 p.m. with Bogie and Bacall in “Key Largo” (Warner Bros., 1948).
Gene Kelly’s “An American in Paris” (MGM, 1951) screens next Friday at 7:30 p.m.
And next Saturday’s “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” (Paramount, 1986) kicks off a trio of July films paying tribute to legendary, quirky director John Hughes.
