ALL-STAR ACTION: Brady Bates of the Culpeper National 9-10 Baseball All-Stars took the field against Louisa on Wednesday, but thunderstorms sent teams, umpires and fans running for cover in the fourth inning.

Rain put an end to both of Wednesday night’s 9-10 Little League Baseball All-Star games involving Culpeper teams.
Culpeper American was scheduled to play at East Orange in a game that could have determined which team would move on to the next round of the district tournament.
Culpeper National played host to Louisa and was trailing 5-0 in the fourth inning when a thunderstorm forced the teams off the field.
Both games will be rescheduled for Friday night at 6.
