Culpeper Fiesta starts Friday at 6
The sixth annual Culpeper Fiesta will treat residents from the surrounding areas to a Latin American party Friday evening from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Depot in downtown Culpeper. The 100 block of Commerce Street will be closed to traffic while families enjoy the Latin experience, from food and music to story times in Spanish and English. Witness a Zumba demonstration, a serenata and a live Mexican band.

‘Bad Seed’ coming May 8-9 to CCHS

‘Beauty and the Beast Jr.’ at CMS
The Culpeper Middle School drama and choral department proudly presents Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” at CMS May 7 and 8 at 7 p.m. This is a great show for the whole family. Admission is $6 per person, $3 for students.

Political humorist at Little Washington
The Theatre at Washington, Va., presents an evening with Mark Russell Saturday at 8 p.m. The famous political humorist and satirist Mark Russell presents his unique perspective on the current political scene. Call 675-1253.

‘Wolverine’ features 2 alternate endings
Fans of “Wolverine” who watched the online leak of the film won’t miss one thing by skipping the theater — they’ll miss at least two.
Director Gavin Hood says the theatrical version of “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” due out Friday, features two different “Easter egg” endings. The short bits of footage play after the credits and reveal important information about key characters. Hood says the two endings play on separate prints, so different theaters may show different footage.
The full-length work print leaked last month has a different ending than the one recently screened for reporters.

Goodrich, Weisband to play Pelham’s Pub
On Friday, Dave Goodrich will perform in Pelham’s Pub, at The Inn at Kelly’s Ford, 16589 Edwards Shop Road, Remington, from 6 to 10 p.m. On Saturday, Bill Weisband will perform. No cover for either event. Call 399-1779.

BRC spring concert Sunday at St. Luke’s

Students’ talents on display at Depot
The Healthy Culpeper After School Arts Program is having an exhibition of students’ work Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Depot in downtown Culpeper.
