It won an Oscar for Best Music 30 years ago and the re-worked tunes are so memorable in some places, it’s true, you might feel like you want to die.

But don’t say Bye Bye Love just yet until you see All That Jazz (1979, Columbia Pictures) playing tonight at 7:30 in the Mount Pony Theater — the latest in the Library of Congress’ tribute to stars who passed away in 2008. There’s no business like show business, especially when there’s lots of sex and drugs involved.

The late Roy Scheider, who died in February, stars as Joe Gideon, the Broadway dancer who might die as well if he doesn’t lay off the hard stuff. Director Bob Fosse tells his own life story here with Jessica Lange as the Angel of Death.

Saturday, it’s not so serious with The Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin (1967, Walt Disney) starring the late Suzanne Pleshette, best known for her role as the wife on the ’70s sit-com, “The Bob Newhart Show.” She died last January, but her spirit lives on in this Disney reel, showing at 2 p.m., about the California Gold Rush of 1847. Insiders say it’s a great family film your kids will love and there are lots of tickets still available.

Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Mount Pony Theater, check out Charlton Heston and those damned, dirty monkeys in Planet of the Apes (1968, 20th Century Fox). This celebrated player died in April.
