First season in Mount Pony Theater draws to a close
Cool Hand Luke plays Jan. 2 in the Mount Pony Theater
The Mount Pony Theater concludes the 2008 season, its first ever, with the final movies of the year this weekend.
Both shows are already fully reserved, but arrive in the lobby early to get on stand-by. All outstanding reservations will be awarded to those with stand-by tickets 10 minutes prior to show time. Here’s what on the bill:
*Tonight at 7:30 it wouldn’t be Christmas without A Christmas Story (1983) and little Ralphie. Relive the days when kids actu-ally got BB guns from Santa, or did they? You’ll shoot your eye out you know.
*Saturday at 2 p.m. it’s magic a la Macy’s with Miracle on 34th Street with Edmund Gwenn as Kris Kringle and Natalie Wood as the little girl who believes.
The Mount Pony Theater will be closed the rest of the year in observance of the holidays, re-opening:
Friday, January 2 with Paul Newman in Cool Hand Luke (1967).
The New Year ushers in more movies in remembrance of stars who died in 2008. Here’s a peek at what’s coming:

See ya in ’09.
