Get a groove on for Toys for Tots
A dance will benefit The Marine Corps Toys for Tots Saturday at 8 p.m. at Hazel River Inn Armory, 195 E. Davis St., Culpeper. Music provided by DJ PC. Cost is $8 per person.
Windmore holding ‘Get Art’ program
Windmore Foundation for the Arts is having a holiday spirit event through its “Get Art” program. On Saturday, children can make ornaments and wrapping paper from 10 a.m. to noon, and teens and adults can do the same from 1 to 4 p.m. It’s $10 for members and $15 for non-members for the kids event and $20 for members and $25 for non-members for the teens and adult event; all supplies are included. Holiday Tour of Homes is Saturday
The Museum of Culpeper History is hosting Culpeper’s annual Holiday Tour of Homes Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. rain, snow or shine. Walk or take the trolley (included in ticket price) along historic South Blue Ridge Avenue, Park Avenue, South West Street and Oaklawn Drive and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holidays. Tickets are $15 before Saturday and $20 the day of the tour. Call the museum at 829-1749.
Barbershop chorus practices Thursday
The Culpeper Minutemen Chorus (a barbershop harmony chorus) meets every Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the chorus room of Eastern View High School. Male singers of all ages and levels of musical experience are welcome. Call Thom, 423-1636.
