Recycle pesticide container program begins soon

Your farm pesticide containers are worth $2 each if recycled in the Culpeper pesticide container program. The Virginia Department of Agriculture has provided grant funds in support this effort and we plan to spend up to $1,000 towards discounts on your next pesticide purchase from the farm supplier of your choice.
The way it works is you triple rinse your plastic farm pesticide containers and bring them in for recycling. For every 10 containers you bring in you will receive a $20.00 discount on your next pesticide purchase. Both CFC Farm and Home and County Farm Service have agreed to make this offer on containers brought in to their respective locations.
County Farm Service customers please call Don Kilby at 825-2381 to make arrangements for delivery of your triple rinsed containers to his site.
Your containers have value, rinse them, save them and bring them back to either supplier mentioned. They will issue you a $20 discount coupon upon receiving 10 triple rinsed, plastic pesticide containers. Coupons are good on your next pesticide purchase. We will spend up to $1,000 on these rebates — first come, first served.
In addition to CFC and County Farm Service, this program is being held in cooperation with Culpeper County, Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and Virginia Cooperative Extension.
