The following students have been named to the Norwich University, Northfield, Vt., dean's list for the fall 2006 semester. They are Jeffrey Fricker of Bealeton and Mallory Downs of Locust Grove.

UMW honors Keyser
University of Mary Washington release local student, Christina "Chrissy" Keyser, inducted into Psychology honor society. She was recently inducted into Psi Chi, the national psychology honor society. Ms. Keyser is the daughter of Ronnie and Kay Keyser of Culpeper and is a 2004 graduate of Culpeper County High School. Chrissy is a junior majoring in biology and psychology.

Forte named to dean's list
Miranda Forte of Locust Dale, daughter of Ms Rosemary Lorna Forte, was named to the Dean's List of Emory College, the undergraduate, liberal arts college of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, for the 2006 fall semester.

MacDaniel honored
Peter MacDaniel, who is the son of Philip and Teresa MacDaniel of Locust Grove, was named to the Dean's List at Ithaca College's School of Health Sciences and Human Performance for the fall 2006 term.

Weston graduates
Central Michigan University (CMU) announced that Julius Weston Jr. of 818 Fairview Village Ct., Culpeper, graduated in December 2006.

Rixeyville resident graduates from Kaplan University
Keith Beebe of Rixeyville was awarded an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Kaplan University during a commencement ceremony for online students at Coral Springs Center for the Arts in Coral Springs, Fla.

Kelly named to president's list at UMW
Madeline Kelly, a sophomore from Amissville, has been named to the President's List at the University of Mary Washington. The President's List recognizes outstanding academic achievement for full-time students who attain a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.
Brandalee Rapine, a senior, and George Robertson, a junior, both from Culpeper have been named to the Dean's List that honors students with a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 out of a possible 4.0.

Strickler graduates from Radford
Lee Ann Strickler of Locust Grove graduated from Radford University at the end of the fall semester. Strickler, daughter of Mark Rosen Strickler, earned a bachelor of science degree in exercise, sport and health education at Radford University.
