Culpeper belongs to the Piedmont District of the National Capital Area Council. There are several levels of Scouting:
» Tiger Cubs, associated with a Cub Scout Pack, for first-graders
» Cubs Scouts, for second- through fifth-graders
» Webelos, for fourth- and fifth-graders (or age 10-11)
» Boy Scouts, sixth grade (or age 11) and up
» Explorers, young men and women age 14 (and completed 8th grade) to 21.
Culpeper also has an active Girl Scouts organization (see page 9).
