May 30-31
Ebenezer Baptist Church, Lignum, the Women’s Ministry Retreat has been cancelled for Friday, May 30 and Saturday, May 31.

May 31
Main Union Baptist Church, Madison we will have battle of the choirs from 1 to 6 p.m. at Main Union Baptist Church. It will be an outdoor program. Pastor Dr. Darnell M. Lundy welcomes everyone.

Rising Zion Baptist Church, Jeffersonton, announces the deaconesses will be hosting a special tea for the ladies at 1 p.m. sponsored by Lydia Garner, pastor’s wife.
Culpeper Baptist Church hosts its Saturday night service, “Overflow,” in the church sanctuary beginning at 6 p.m., and will feature contemporary worship with praise music led by Justin Harding and a time of fellowship. Dave Wheatley, minister of youth, will have part two of his three-part series titled “Target Practice,” based on Col 1:9-10. The Sunday morning contemporary service June 1 begins at 8:30 and a traditional worship begins at 11 a.m. Pastor Ted Fuson’s message at both services is titled “What’s Happening to Marriage and Commitment” The scripture passage is 1Cor. 5:1-2; 7-12. Open Door Baptist Church, 754 Germanna Hwy., Culpeper, will be having a hymn sing on May 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. Featured will be “Greater Love” (Southern Gospel) and “Good News Gospel Singers”. A love offering will be taken. Everyone is welcome.

Reformation Lutheran Church, 415 S. Main St., Culpeper, announces May 31 at 6 p.m. you are invited to experience the exciting music ministry of The Steve Kropp Band. June 1
Culpeper United Methodist Church, 1233 Oaklawn Drive, welcome all to our Sunday morning service and Sunday school. We have a traditional service at 8 a.m., a contemporary service at 9:30 a.m., and a choir-led traditional worship at 11 a.m. For the month of June we will be discussing characters of the Old Testament. June 1 is a youth Sunday and all services will be led by our youth. Our sermon will be “Ways I’ve Grown In My Faith.” Scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6.

Oak Shade United Methodist Church, Route 229 N., Rixeyville, invites the public to join us for our Sunday worship beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Lynn Wilbur’s message will be, “God’s Difficult Plan For You.” Scripture from Matt. 7:21-29. A covered-dish lunch will follow the service.

Shiloh Baptist Church, Brandy Station Pastor Washington and church family invite the public to our deacon, men’s and trustee day June 1 at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Frank Lewis. Lunch will be served after the morning service. Call 825-8410.

The Women’s Auxiliary of the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association, Inc. is “Celebrating 70 years of Services” beginning June 1 at 5 p.m. with a pre-session musical to be held at the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center, 15044 Ryland Chapel Road, Rixeyville.  The guests will be gospel recording artist, Psalmist Eric Armstead and the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Spotsylvania Music Ministry along with the Male Chorus of the Emmanuel Christian Center, Ruckersville.  The services are free and open to the public. Antioch Baptist Church of Culpeper, will start its Sunday service on June 1 at 10 a.m. Sunday school will begin at 8:30 a.m. This will be our summer hours. Everyone is invited by the pastor, the Rev. Dr. Milton L. Branch Sr.

June 3
Carless Webb and The Gospel Strings will be in a Gospel concert at Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 500 Church St., Remington on June 3 starting at 7 p.m. Call 547-4537.

Kids Zone every Tuesday at Hazel River Assembly of God: Hazel River Assembly of God in Rixeyville, invites the public to bring your kids for a night of fun. Hazel River Kids Ministry will watch your kids, ages 4 - 11 for free every Tuesday night from 5 to 8 p.m. in our Activities Center. We provide dinner, games and lots of fun activities in a safe environment. Parents can drop off the kids and have a night off. For more information call the church office at 937-6041.
 
June 8
  The Antioch Baptist Church, Madison will be having its Annual Women’s Day June 8 at 9:30 a.m.  Evangelist Miranda Williams, Central Baptist Church, Camp Springs, Md., will be the guest preacher.  Guest choir will be Locust Grove Baptist Church, Radiant.  Lunch will be served following the service.

Mt. Olive Men’s Day: Pastor Sydney Williams and the men of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Whiteshop invite the public to our annual Men’s Day on Sunday, June 8 at 3 p.m.  The Rev. Frank Lewis, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church, Madison, with his Men’s Chorus will be our special guest.  Dinner will follow morning service.

Remington Baptist Church invites you to a hymn sing concert on June 8 featuring All4Hym, a gospel bluegrass group from Winchester. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an evening filled with fellowship, food and gospel music. The church will provide hot dogs for a picnic beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by a concert at 6:30 p.m. This is a free concert, but a love offering will be collected. June 15
Culpeper United Methodist Church, 1233 Oaklawn Drive announce Elizabeth Cumbest will be at Culpeper United Methodist Church on June 15.. She will be performing several songs at our 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. services, and will share a concert at 9:30 a.m.

June 15-20
Bethel Baptist Church, Route 609, Hoover Road, Reva, announces its Vacation Bible School will be held June 15-20, 6:30 to 9 p.m. each evening. The theme will be “Blazing Trails with the Good News at Cactus Canyon.” Vacation Bible School is for all ages. Children enjoy crafts, games, missions, and Bible study. June 16-20
Culpeper United Methodist Church announces Vacation Bible School, June 16 - June 20 from 9 a.m. to noon. Ages 3 years to 6 grades. We will play games, make crafts, learn some cool songs, learn more about Jesus and of course, eat snacks!  You may pick up a registration form at the church or register online at culpeperumc.org. Online registration began May 16.

June 29
Culpeper United Methodsit Church, 1233 Oaklawn Drive is offering a message on June 29 at 6 p.m. during our five Sunday Healing and Communion services.
