T.I. Martin | CCHS c/o 1938

A member of the Culpeper County High School class of 1938, Martin, who will be 88 next month, recalled playing sports in high school, sleigh riding up and down East Street during winter storms and swimming in the town’s new pool in the 1930s. Martin and his wife, who died in 1989, had four sons. He worked his way up from engineer to vice president of sales at The Rochester Corporation. More recently, he served as chairman of the county’s 250th anniversary committee in 1999 as well as being a co-chairman of fundraising for the hospital’s Powell Wellness Center.
