CFA holds annual golf tournament

Culpeper Football Association held their Second Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on April 7 at the Country Club of Culpeper.  It was a cold day, but a great time for all.  Fourteen teams participated and the top three teams were:

CFA is one of the largest organized youth football leagues in Virginia with more than 640 participants. More than $5000 was collected from the day’s activities to help fund equipment and uniforms for players and cheerleaders.  CFA would like to thank everyone who volunteered or participated in the Golf Tournament.  To view pictures from this event, go to CFA’s website, cfa4kids.com.

First Place: Ray Tricarico, Bill Polen, Bobby Polen, J.D. Leary
Second Place: Jeff Jorgensen, Steve Lane, Chris Settle, Doug Meadows
Third Place: Rick Boswell, Wayne Bernado, Steve Mills, Charlie Pence.
