CHARLOTTESVILLE — Following the disappearance of a student at a Metallica concert, University of Virginia police say they’re stepping up patrols on Halloween.
Police continue to follow leads in their search for 20-year-old Morgan Dana Harrington, a Virginia Tech student who was last seen outside the U.Va. concert arena.
University police say they’re increasing patrols on foot and in vehicles in anticipation of Halloween festivities and because there is a home football game Saturday.
They urged students to take precautions by being aware of their surroundings and reporting any suspicious activity.
