RICHMOND — Virginia won out over three states to convince a commercial printer to bring 55 jobs to Grayson County in a $3 million expansion.
The office of Gov. Tim Kaine announced Monday that Carolina Profile Design Corp. will add a metal machining process to its existing operations in the western Virginia county.
Kaine’s office says the state won the project over competing bids from Illinois, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
Caroline Profile Design President Helmar Nielsen says a big part of the company’s reasoning was state government’s willingness to help with employee training.
