Winter storm warning issued

» 6 Comments | Post a Comment

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Culpeper effective Tuesday afternoon.

This new storm is expected to dump an additional seven to 14 inches of snow on top of last weekend’s two-day storm that left 19.5 inches of accumulation.

Forecasters say the snowfall will begin around mid-afternoon into Wednesday morning.

Tuesday’s temperature will reach the low 30s before dipping in the mid-20s. The outlook for the rest of the week is mostly cloudy with temperatures in the high 30s.
