A Culpeper native has returned to the area with a business offering complete design, installation, and landscape maintenance services.
Andrew Cutright started Greensward LLC in Blacksburg five years ago, and has since been designing and building patios, perennial gardens, water features, and decks for clients in Northern and Southwestern Virginia.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude at Virginia Tech, he entered the school’s three-year master’s of landscape architecture program. He completed the program in 2007.
Cutright’s designs often include diverse plant palettes for sustainability and year-round interest and hardscapes constructed with fine materials to bring durability and refined aesthetic taste to the landscape.
Before starting Greensward LLC, Andrew gained experience while working on projects including installation of an Oehme, Van Sweden and Associates and a John Brooks-designed garden at the Chicago Botanic Garden. In addition, Andrew has experience in construction, irrigation, greenhouse production, golf-course construction and stone masonry.
Greensward LLC will serve clients in the Piedmont, Charlottesville, and Fredericksburg.
