Halloween story times at the library Oct. 30
Culpeper County Library announces spooky story time Oct.27 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 30 at 10:30 a.m. Children will go “trick-or-treating” in the library after the program. Call 825-8691.
Oct. 31
Alum Spring Baptist Church hosts fall festival
Alum Spring Baptist Church, 11058 Dutch Hollow Rd, Culpeper invites the public to their Fall Festival, Oct. 31, from 4 to 6 p.m. The festival will include a soup supper, trunk or treat and more. Call 825-3820.
Craigs Baptist Church hosts Harvest Fest
Craigs Baptist Church, 14123 W. Catharpin Road, Spotsylvania, invites the public to its Harvest Fest, today from 2 to 8 p.m. There will be Brunswick stew and hot dogs which will start at 4:30 p.m. Funnel cakes will be on sale for a donation, and lots more. Call 854-5284.
Annual fall festival at Open Door Baptist
Open Door Baptist Church, 754 Germanna Highway, Culpeper, invites you to its annual Fall festival “Hallow Him,” Oct.31 starting at 6 to 8 p.m. Join us for food, fun, and fellowship. Also a puppet shows performed by CBM’s rolling chapel. It’s free and open to the public. Call 825-1549.
Trunk or Treat at Culpeper United Methodist
Culpeper United Methodist Church, will hold its annual Trunk or Treat Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. This event will be held outside and inside depending upon the weather. There will be lots of candy, free hot dogs, sodas, popcorn and apple cider, crafts, a prize walk, and face painting. CUMC’s Youth Praise Band, Satellite 29 will be playing. Bring your coins to help support Culpeper’s S.A.F.E. (Services for Abused Families). For more information call 825-0764.

Harvestime celebration at Hazel River Church

Alien plays Oct. 31 at Library of Congress

Halloween hayride at Graves’ Mountain Lodge
Graves’ Mountain Lodge, Syria, stables “Boo Crew” is having a Haunted Halloween Hayride Oct. 31. The first wagon leaves Chimney Rock pavilion at 8 p.m. Children 2 and under are free; children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $8 per person.
