Culpeper County Library announces spooky story time Oct.27 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 30 at 10:30 a.m. Children will go “trick-or-treating” in the library after the program. Call 825-8691.

Alum Spring Baptist Church hosts fall festival
Alum Spring Baptist Church, 11058 Dutch Hollow Rd, Culpeper invites the public to their Fall Festival, Oct. 31, from 4 to 6 p.m. The festival will include a soup supper, trunk or treat and more. Call 825-3820.

Craigs Baptist Church hosts Harvest Fest
Craigs Baptist Church, 14123 W. Catharpin Road, Spotsylvania, invites the public to its Harvest Fest, today from 2 to 8 p.m. There will be Brunswick stew and hot dogs which will start at 4:30 p.m. Funnel cakes will be on sale for a donation, and lots more. Call 854-5284.

Annual fall festival at Open Door Baptist

Trunk or Treat at Culpeper United Methodist
Culpeper United Methodist Church, will hold its annual Trunk or Treat Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. This event will be held outside and inside depending upon the weather. There will be lots of candy, free hot dogs, sodas, popcorn and apple cider, crafts, a prize walk, and face painting. CUMC’s Youth Praise Band, Satellite 29 will be playing. Halloween hayride at Graves’ Mountain Lodge
