A pallet of lumber fell and broke a man's leg Thursday morning at Culpeper Wood Preservers, according to Culpeper Emergency Services.

No one was trapped or seriously hurt in the incident, which occurred around 8:20 a.m.

Emergency services did not provide specific information about the man, including his identity.

Joe Daniel, who owns the business, said he only knew that the man broke a bone in his lower leg and is scheduled for surgery Friday at Culpeper Regional Hospital.

Culpeper Wood Preservers is located along the railroad tracks on Route 666 just northeast of the town of Culpeper.
