Culpeper Renaissance presents a feast for the senses today at the Depot.

The Third Annual Taste of Culpeper runs from noon to 5 p.m. and is sure to have something to suit even the most discriminating palate.

The event features a sampling of local cuisine including pulled pork from B Blues BBQ, epicurean delights from the Inn at Kelly's Ford and Lord Culpeper Bar & Grille and sweets from The Unbridled Bakery, to name a few.

And they couldn't have Taste of Culpeper without vino in lots of local varieties. That's right, wine tasting leads the bill with the reds and whites provided by Prince Michel, Rogers Ford Winery, Horton Vineyards, Peaks of Otter Winery and many more.

Nearly 100 varieties of wines will be here for the tasting with full glasses available for purchase.

Three live music acts make the afternoon even more festive with performances by David Leckie Gilmore, the Eli Cook Band and Crown Vic.

And there will be lots of free and fun activities for children like wagon rides, face painting, Cookie the Clown, balloon sculptures and crafts.

Local artisans will also set up shop, selling their handcrafted wares. Tickets are $15 at the gate; $5 for designated drivers and 12 and younger are free.

Food and drinks for a fee. Admission includes a souvenir wine glass and a Taste of Culpeper tote bag.
