TEA Party set for Saturday

Culpeper-area residents are invited to another TEA Party on Saturday, the third such gathering in as many months.

Saturday’s event will run from 5 to 7 p.m. at Yowell Meadow Park and will feature local youth and the music group Immersed. People of all ages will have the opportunity to speak about their feelings on issues facing Americans at the local, state and federal levels.

Short for taxed enough already, the TEA Party event organizers say the gathering is an opportunity to peacefully express disapproval with government spending and social policies. Since April, communities across the U.S. have organized similar events.
