Turkeys’ victory hopes get stuffed

The fourth annual Domino's Pizza football game delivered plenty of fun for current and former employees Thanksgiving Day at Yowell Meadow Park.
The Stuffings and the Turkeys stepped onto the field about 10:45 a.m. welcoming clear blue skies and balmy temperatures, a stark contrast to last year's sleet and muddy conditions.
"It's fun," said Domino's manager Nick Kautz, donning a knit cap bearing the company logo. "We do this every year."
The landscape - littered with doggy leftovers - didn't seem to bother this athletic bunch of co-eds either.
The boys playfully tackled each other - even though the game was technically touch football - falling dangerously close to what Fido left behind.
After the first game, the Stuffings beat the Turkeys, 7-3.
The group of 15 players tossed the specially ordered football, sporting a Domino's logo, around for a few hours before calling it a day.
