A 30-year-old Culpeper man was arrested following an assault Thursday night at Sleepy Hollow trailer park.

Alberto A. Hernandez, of the 1800 block of Silver Star Lane, is charged with malicious wounding and giving false information to police with the intent to deceive.

According to authorities, the incident began around 9:20 p.m. when a caller reported shots fired in the area of the trailer park (400 block of James Madison Highway).

When police arrived, they noticed that Hernandez appeared to be bleeding from the face. Police determined that there was no shooting.

When a Culpeper County sheriff’s deputy arrived to assist town officers by translating, police say Hernandez, who was standing on the porch of a trailer, gave a fake name.

During their investigation, police also noticed more blood inside a trailer. A 17-year-old victim later sought treatment at the hospital after sustaining head injuries from the same incident.

The unidentified teen told police that Hernandez struck him with a beer bottle unprovoked. Hernandez told police they had been arguing about nationalities and that the juvenile had hit him with the bottle.
Hernandez is due in court on Dec. 2 at 8:30 a.m.

At various times in the past, I have been less than forthright with certain officers of the law regarding the velocity at which my vehicle was traveling at a particular point in time.

Does this mean I need to re-apply for U.S. citizenship?

I recommend Negra Modelo.  It’s a great tasting dark beer, and the bottle has a slight bulge in the neck that provides a sure grip when one needs to swing it.
But always remember: “When beer bottles are outlawed, only outlaws will have beer bottles”.

Intent to deceive TheBreeze?  How does that determine the citizenship status of anyone?  It’s you that needs to your head out of the sand!

It may have been an argument between a Mexican who preferred Dos Equios and a Guatemalan who preferred Gallo (that’s beer not wine).  Something along the lines of “tastes great- less filling”.  That can get pretty heated.

And how do you know his immigration status?  And who caused the blood on Hernandez?
