The case of a Culpeper man accused in a March shooting and hit-and-run at Buffalo Wild Wings is due in court Monday.

Christopher H. Jackson, 26, is charged with attempted malicious wounding, maliciously shooting into an occupied building, use of a firearm in a felony and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. He is due in Circuit Court at 9:30 a.m.

Earl D. Tyler, 25, faces charges of hit and run, unlawful wounding and hit and run resulting in damage of more than $1,000 in connection with the same incident. His case was continued to Nov. 2.

According to police, the March 6 incident at 763 Nalles Mill Road began around 1:45 a.m. when Tyler and Jackson apparently got into an argument inside the restaurant.

As the men were leaving, Tyler is accused of hitting a 31-year-old man with his SUV in the parking lot. Jackson is accused of firing shots from the vehicle.
No one was injured due to gunfire, but a bullet shattered one of the restaurant’s windows. The unidentified hit-and-run victim was not seriously injured.
