Gordonsville Police Chief suspended

Town of Gordonsville Police Chief Christopher Spare has been placed on suspension pending an investigation, according to town officials.

Gordonsville Town Manager Sabrina Martyn would not discuss the nature of the investigation, or the length of the suspension.

“There is no further comment until the investigation is finished,“ Martyn said.

Sgt. Greg Stang is serving as acting police chief, she added.
