Gordonsville suspends police chief

Town of Gordonsville Police Chief Christopher Spare has been placed on suspension pending an investigation, according to town officials.
Gordonsville Town Manager Sabrina Martyn would not discuss the nature of the investigation or the length of the suspension. “There is no further comment until the investigation is finished,“ she said.
Sgt. Greg Stang is serving as acting police chief, according to Martyn.
