On Oct. 24, the Culpeper County High School cafeteria was transformed into Michael Jackson’s movie video “Thriller” for homecoming 2009. Nearly 500 students attended the semiformal dance, where a wonderful time was had by all.
The Culpeper County High School Student Council Association would like to thank the following businesses and organizations for their generous donations in making this homecoming dance the biggest in the school’s history: The CCHS Parent Teacher Student Association for their donations and hard work, and The Culpeper Pumpkin Patch owners William Cronk and Priscilla Coxsey (in front of K&M) for their generous donations of pumpkins.
A special thank you is extended to the Virginia Driving School, Lucio Restaurant and Royal Coach and Limo for providing our homecoming king and queen (and dates) with a limo ride to and from the dance as well as dinner at one of the nicest restaurants in Culpeper. Our king and queen arrived in style, and we are certain that these business’s generosity created memories these four students will never forget.
The Student Council Association of CCHS truly appreciates the support of both the parents and businesses of Culpeper County. It is rewarding to work in a community that places such a high value on this country’s future generation.
