Just another attempt to pander to anti-tax hysteria. This also implies some secret Deeds plan to raise taxes. Mr. Deeds has been quite clear that he would agree (if the GA went along) to an increase in the gas tax which is as a percentage of the cost of gas less than half what it was 23 years ago.
Do people want to pay any more? No. Do that want better roads? Yes. And they will get them with Deeds plan and won’t with McDonnell’s pie in the sky plan.
