War memorial deserves respect
Thank you, Mr. Inskeep, for your letter to the Star-Exponent (“Regarding the use of a flood plain,” April 26) on the WWII and Korean Wars Memorial that was placed in a park flood area on Wine Street in the town of Culpeper.
Voters to be commended in town election

School remarks are contradictory about illnesses
I don’t think most people have the money to go to a doctor every time they get a cold so I guess the next thing is to have a school for just the sick kids.

War-mongers need McCain as victor
In this real world that I live in, and given the nasty reputation for violence this country has acquired in the past, I fear for the safety of both Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama, should either win the presidential race in November.
Instead of cutting activities, schools should save gas
The Culpeper County School Board claims they can’t have certain activities and certain sports this year because of lack of funds — well I have an idea.
