A matter of coaching

» 1 Comment | Post a Comment

I have lived in Culpeper my whole life, and I remember when Culpeper County High School’s football team was No. 1 in 1999. That year, we won the state championship and the whole town was about shut down because they went to the game. After that, however, the school did not want to give that coach more money, and look what’s happened now. They have the players, but they don’t have the coaching.

Wow I guess rather than high school we should really just call it Culpeper County Football Team! Please the school is there for education sports is an extra ciricular activity. Invest money in the teachers because they are great educators not because they are good coaches.
