Regarding Monica Chernin’s letter Sunday, “Disappearing act downtown after Halloween,” she could have simply said, “This Halloween, please support the locally owned businesses of downtown Culpeper.” This would have been far more eloquent and more effective than the distasteful missive that was printed.
