Inspections every two years is a really good idea

In response to the opinion of Mr. Roger Mitchell Sr. on state inspections in the March 31 edition of the Star-Exponent ("Don't alter frequency of inspections,") I would like to state my own opinion.
Unlike Mr. Mitchell, I think a two-year inspection on a vehicle is a very good idea. It not only saves a driver money, it also saves us the time of getting the inspection done.
It's not like state troopers still won't ticket a driver for having a light out or a broken windshield.
In fact, old ideas are the reason we don't have a good Town Council any longer.
This town needs new Town Council members with new ideas. That's the only way we're going to see a positive change.
