Observe Veterans Day at Culpeper National Cemetery

Veterans Day observance has evolved over the years. In recognition of military service members’ sacrifices, let’s take time this year to pay appropriate homage to our veterans who have contributed so much to the preservation of this nation.

The staff of Culpeper National Cemetery would like to invite you to the annual Veterans Day ceremony to be held at 305 U.S. Ave. Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.

Mr. Frank Bossio, Culpeper County administrator, will be the guest speaker. Mr. Bossio is a retired veteran who served in the United States Navy as a jet fighter pilot, commanding officer and executive officer during his 27 years of military service.

We hope you will be able to join us in honoring those brave Americans who have served our nation in uniform.

Honoring those who have made the decision to possibly put themselves in harm’s way for our way of life seems appropriate to me. Are you going to be there?
