Try being a part of the solution, Rep. Cantor
Published: October 8, 2009
In Eric Cantor’s latest display of his total unwillingness to consider anything being currently worked out in Congress (“Cantor applauds vote to bar Gitmo detainees’ transfer to U.S.,” Wednesday), he shows that he has absolutely no intention of being anything other than a self-promoter and national obfuscator.
After inserting himself into the leadership of the Republic(an) Party, he has shown, and keeps showing, his complete partisanship, his political self-absorbsion and his total disregard of the needs of the country. Anyone who votes for Cantor next year deserves whatever we get in this congressional district — which, as far as I can tell, is pretty much of nothing.

My only comment on this subject is:
I am so glad Eric Cantor does not represent the district I live in. I would have to run for my life.
I like a term I heard this morning, that the Republican party is the new Corporate Communist party.
Since their goal is to allow corporations to run our country, and not WE THE PEOPLE.
I criticize your posts because they have nothing in them. You blather a bit and provide absolutely nothing that supports that blather. You are easy to pick apart. Until that changes I will continue to pick on you.
If you said nothing good or bad about Cantor why are you bothering to post anything at all. IT WAS THE TOPIC. What you do is a waste of everyone’s time. Personally I think it’s because your thinking process is so shallow and flawed that you figured it was best to use several words to say nothing than to once again prove your shortcomings.
Speaking of topics-was it about other senators or was it about Cantor? Since it should be obvious to everyone what the topic was let’s just jump to asking why you think your normal topic swapping was any more relevant here than anywhere else you’ve attempted it? Couldn’t you think of a way to bash Obama on this one or were you afraid to do it again? It’s you who can’t stay on topic.
I am betting you don’t vote. You just sound like one of them. I ask cuz in my opinion if you don’t vote your opinion means less than nothing since you obviously don’t care enough to get off your lazy can and go vote. It’s simple yes or no answer even if you choose to lie about it.
BTW - How about the prediction you asked me for about what Sharman would write about next? I notice you’ve stayed away from that one.
Until you learn to stay on topic and provide a little more than your imitation of right-wing parrot this won’t be my last response to you. Whether you respond to me or not is meaningless.
El Debibble - (feel better now)
You have said nothing but criticize my posts here - - ie “and so wrong” - without stating where I was wrong.
Then you come and say “you are wrong cuz you kind of conveniently ignored that Cantor was a YES man when it was Republicans in charge and that the issue is not Cantor’s vote on a single issue.“
Tell me where I said any good or bad about Cantor in the post - or in any other post! YOU CAN’T.
To my original post - since I was so wrong— I am sure you can name the 51 senators (most) that are not completely partisan, are not self absorbed, do care about the REAL needs of this country, and are not self promoters. You can work on the House when you are done with the Senate.
These were the original charges in the original letter. I addressed them. If you can’t stay on topic without mentioning my voting habits/patterns – everything you say is DRIVVLE.
What does my voting habit have to do with this discussion??? You have no idea who I am, how I vote, how often I vote, but you can bring it up for the world to read. Do not make the mistake of thinking I care what you think about me.
This will be my last response to you.
So now you’re down to twisting names Brew? I think that is #3 in the list.
Good point El Drivvle - There aint no Cantor in most!
No brew, you are wrong cuz you kind of conveniently ignored that Cantor was a YES man when it was Republicans in charge and that the issue is not Cantor’s vote on a single issue.
Everyone listen up. Brewer is consistently wrong but wants to blame his shallow thinking and poor logic on someone else. Don’t worry about how he votes though cuz odds are he doesn’t.
I knew I could count on you EL Debibble.
Everyone, listen up. I am wrong because EL Debibble said so.
Brew, way to sum it up so succinctly and be so wrong.
Most politicians at the national level are completely partisan. Most politicians at the national level are self absorbed. Most politicians at the national level seldom care about the REAL needs of this country. Probably ALL politicians at the national level are self promoters.
This letter therefore says in summary; Any Representative not wanting the GITMO detainees in the CONUS is a national obfuscator.
