Wagner for lieutenant governor

I like the sound of that — Lt. Gov. Jody Wagner! Here is a woman who has real prior experience — not like Billy Bolling, who missed a full 90 percent of meetings he was assigned to when he was lieutenant governor! Why would we want to re-elect a man who was never available to carry out his duties the first time around?

Jody Wagner has demonstrated her abilities under both the Warner and Kaine administrations — as both state treasurer and secretary of finance, all the while wearing hats of mother and entrepreneur.

She worked hard with both governors to balance Virginia’s budget during financial hard times, and managed as well to provide the two largest investments in education in Virginia’s history.

In addition, she helped earn two “Best Managed State” awards, a “Best Place to Raise Children” award, eight “Best State for Business” awards and kept Virginia’s state credit rating AAA!  What more could we ask for in demonstration of one’s capabilities?

The choice is clear: Elect Jody Wagner lieutenant governor!

I wonder what her committment will be on attending scheduled meetings?  So far, Bill Bolling claims to attend 78% of his.  Is that supposed to be good?  What if I only went to work 78% of the time, would I be up for promotions?

I truly don’t know, what a good attendance record should be.
