Deanes doing good thing with a home for vets

Some time ago I read an article about homeless veterans.
I said to my husband there should not be such a thing in the United States, when you think of the dedicated men and women that served this country.

Then later I read about this couple with beautiful hearts trying to make life a little better for someone that has served his or her country and now needs some help and love ("The cost of compassion," May 7).

My heart goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Deane for what they're doing.

God is already in the plan for this, or you wouldn't have gotten this far.

I encourage you not to give up.

Just keep on praying and believing. Remember to ask in God's name, and you will succeed.
