How hard can it be to simply time stoplights-

Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else think it's a little insane that it takes less time to drive to Warrenton (or halfway to Charlottesville for that matter) than it does to make it across Culpeper during afternoon and evening rush hour-

Why is the intersection at Evans and Main worse than the intersection at 14th and Constitution in D.C. during rush hour-

Why do I dread getting off at the Bus. 29 Culpeper exit because I know that, after two hours of driving, I still have 30 more minutes to  drive to get through Culpeper until I reach my home in Redwood Lakes-

This town is way too small for that. I realize it is growing and there is more traffic as a result, but after a year or more of this, does it really take an act of Congress to just time the lights correctly-

I have a degree in electronics and I am sure if you told me how to do it, I could probably get it done in, oh say, an hour or so.

OK, maybe I am being overly simplistic about this, but how hard can it be-

Please, someone, anyone who has the ability and authority and the good ol' fashion gumption to see that this gets done and soon, answer me and everyone else who would like to know the answer to this seemingly simple question.

Then, maybe it really is just me who cares.
