PERSPECTIVE: Enough with the Obama birthplace allegations

There are many things one can criticize about President Barack Obama, but his status as a natural-born U.S. citizen should not be one.
The focus of some on the question of Obama’s legitimacy as president because of his place of birth is a silly distraction.
That would be different if there were a shred of truth to it, but there’s not, and it’s been pretty definitively shown.
Let us count the ways:
• A copy of his Hawaiian birth certificate has been released.
• Birth announcements appeared in Hawaiian newspapers in 1961.
• A Kenyan birth certificate for Obama was shown to be a fake.
• Bill O’Reilly — pal to conservatives everywhere — has called the claims of Obama’s foreign birth “bogus.”
• Staff from FactCheck.org has actually seen and checked the authenticity of the original birth certificate.
• McCain’s people checked into the legitimacy of claims about Obama’s foreign birth during the election campaign — they found them wanting.
McCain more than anybody had a motive for proving that Obama was not legitimately able to run for president. He had the money and the power to check these claims. If he didn’t find them to be accurate, then neither should anybody else.
However, it seems that for those who hate Obama, nothing will convince them that he is anything but a foreigner.
To throw in conspiracy theory with genuine critiques of the president is to enhance the former and dilute the latter; the effort to protest Obama’s policies and actions is hurt by crazy rhetoric.
Point out the flaws in Obama’s stimulus plan; speak out against his health-care reform; call him a socialist, if you must. But leave the crazy talk to the pages of tabloids and conspiratorial Web sites, where they belong.
The key to thoughtful opposition is “thought.” In the case of Obama’s birth, it seems that many are not thinking at all.

Since the campaign trail, Obama has been protected by the media and police. Dissenters were threatened with jail.
For crying out loud, Zbigniew Brzezinski ran this man’s campagin! If you don’t know who he is, you need to find out.
Grow up, people. Learn who runs the world. We’re all debt slaves. We’re being backed into a corner and everyone is just taking it. Well, so long as the grocery stores are full, the gas is flowing, and the television is on.
This domesticated population will be harvested and sacrificed. Regardless of whether or not you believe in Satan and pagan gods… the people who run this world do! Find out about this encroaching evil and stop it. This modern control grid must be attenuated.
This has been going on months before the electiona .it’s just that the media you have been listening to hav used twitter and other bloggs to afrim or refuse to hear this case on merit and instaed kicked it out because it wasn’t properply prepared and that’s how they kept back paging this until they got past the election ,even Bush stopped all I.C.E operations from picking up any Illegals.To keep from having to pick up obama’s illegal Aunt that has been under a deportation order since2005,It was here but the media and judges, has been turning their blind eyes away,because they want a man of color in the white house,it doesn’t matter if he wrecks the economy and Bankrupts America?and Alienates all our allies in the process.

I am, in fact, a registered Republican. I do not follow any of the party line, however. I am more of a Libertarian or a Ron Paul Republican.
Buddy, if this were 1776, and politicians acted this way, there would be more than loaded guns in town hall meetings. Blood would run in the streets and the citizenry would actually engage them instead of staring at the television and stuff their fat faces with recombinant bovine growth hormone.
Americans are known worldwide as the Suckers of the Planet. We’ll believe anything. We’ll accept anything. We hardly squirm when gas prices triple. We allow them to wave the bloody shirt and we believe in their boogie-men.
If you don’t see the parallels between the Third Reich and this nation, you need to go revisit (or actually look into) “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich”. Find out what a FEMA camp is, and a Polyguard vault. Find out about contingency plans and vaccines. Learn what flouride really does to you. Go revisit what military and blackwater did in Katrina. Find out how you will be treated in the event that you allow the government to rescue you from a large emergency. These are dots that deserve connecting. I refuse to believe that the world evolves through a string of accident.
Learn who Obama has surrounded himself with. What’s a czar!? I mean really. Czars!? Our Science Czar wrote a textbook on mass human depopulation! Eric Pianka of Texas U says the same thing. These people are sick, on blood-thirsty power trips, and the lot of you are willing to swallow it.
