Store manager could have been more helpful
Published: September 26, 2007
On Sept. 24, my wife and three children went to a local package shipping store inside another retail outlet. She arrived at 9:45 a.m. and was assisted by two ladies who I am sure, through no fault of their own, knew nothing about how to ship packages.
The manager walked by several times and never offered to assist, but looked as if my family was an inconvenience.
Yes, my children may have been making some noise, but what can you expect when they are made to stand in the same place for almost two hours- Is this the price we pay for a greater choice of stores- More competion among retailers should drive their desire to outdo one another in customer service.
My wife finally got her packages mailed at 11:20 a.m. but never got so much as a smile from the manager.
