I just returned from a week-long trip to Palisade, Colo., where extensive fruit tree agriculture normally flourishes.
Many growers told me they have had a lot of trouble finding qualified harvesters.
President Bush has told us that "foreign workers do the jobs Americans won't do." Apparently not.
Apparently, foreign workers, legal and illegal, like to pursue the same jobs we citizens do. Surprised-
Have you noticed that finding entry-level jobs for our young people, your kids and mine, has become almost impossible- I wonder who is taking those traditional job opportunities away from our teenagers-
Without entry-level jobs, how will our kids learn how to work- How will they learn thrift and how to please the boss-
