Virginia Commonwealth University is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the location of missing foreign-exchange student Jonathan S. Dorey.

Dorey, 22, a geography student from Guernsey, an island in the English Channel, was last seen March 2 in a surveillance video that showed him leaving his dorm with his mountain bike, according to VCU police. He was reported missing two days later.

He is 6-feet-3 and between 180 to 200 pounds with brown hair. He wears glasses and has a British accent. He was last seen wearing a blue-and-white plaid jacket with a hood and dark blue jeans.

He also is described as an accomplished mountain bicyclist. As of yesterday, the bike had not been located.

Anyone with information is asked to call VCU police at (804) 828-1196.

What’s his reason for leaving his dormitory and not coming back for several days? Maybe his gone far if he follows some routes suggestions provided by Google Maps for bicyclists. Well, this is an additional feature for the Google maps and it provides safe routes for bicyclists. That is if he knows about this thing. What was his parents reaction about this matter?
