Gilmore’s quick analysis of Culpeper

One of the questions posed to Jim Gilmore asked him to assess Culpeper’s status in the current political climate. Here is his answer:

“I don’t like this analysis going on whether you’re red or blue. … (Politicians should) run on the issues and address the concerns of the people. When Republicans don’t do that, they lose.

“If I address the concerns of the people in Culpeper in a legitimate way, I’ll win Culpeper,” he said. “I don’t care if they’re blue, red or polka dot. I think I can win the vote.”
