The Eastern View field hockey team lost in the opening round of the Battlefield District tournament on Monday, 2-1 in overtime to Chancellor.
Taryn Bierhuizen scored the lone goal for the Cyclones, but the Chargers were able to break the tie in the extra period. EVHS plays again Wednesday night against Courtland in Fredericksburg.
