Despite a 72-42 loss to the Charlottesville Black Knights in Saturday’s Region-II final, the Orange Hornets move on to the quarterfinals of the state tournament where they will meet Virginia’s second-ranked team — the Courtland Cougars. After finishing the season with an unblemished record and a Region B championship, the Madison Mountaineers will also be in state-tournament action Saturday when they travel to Monticello High school to face Northampton.
