Orange County’s boys basketball team traveled north Thursday and Quintin Hunter put together a double-double to lead the Hornets to a 65-59 win over Broad Run in the second round of the Region-II, Division 4 tournament.

“We picked it up defensively when we needed to,” Orange coach Keyode Rogers said. “And Mike Nixon did a great job on their top scorer in the second half.”
Nixon finished the game with 15 points, while Hunter led the way with 28 points and 12 rebounds.

The win propels Orange into the finals of the tournament where the Hornets will face off against Charlottesville at Monticello High School Saturday.
