EVHS crushes Caroline

Morgan Martin, Jackie Bedsaul and Brittany McCauley scored two goals each to help the Eastern View field hockey team destroy Caroline 9-0 on Wednesday.
Bedsaul added two assists and the Cyclones defense didn’t allow Caroline into the offensive circle the entire first half as EVHS built a 4-0 lead at the break.
The Cyclones continued to dominate in the second period and Taryn Bierhuizen, Lindsey Bowler and Chandler Gilmore all finished the day with goals.
Eastern View improved to 10-4 and 9-3 in the Battlefield District and will play host to Culpeper on Friday.
