Randolph-Macon’s Monica Jenkins totaled four goals and two assists in the Yellow Jackets’ three games last week to earn ODAC Field Hockey Player of the Week honors.
Jenkins, a former Culpeper County High School standout, recorded an assist in R-MC’s 5-0 win over conference foe Bridgewater College Thursday.
On Saturday, Jenkins attacked the net for two goals on the way to a 4-0 victory over NCAA Division II member Limestone College.
Jenkins came up clutch in R-MC’s 2-1 win over the College of Wooster Sunday. The Junior Midfielder netted both of Randolph-Macon’s goals to take down the North Coast Athletic Conference leading Scots.
Jenkins and fellow Culpeper alum Mary McCarthy are tied for the team lead in points, each scoring five goals and distributing three assists for the Yellow Jackets.
