FRIDAY FOOTBALL UPDATES: Madison wins, EV rolling, Culpeper falls, Orange in overtime.

At Madison The Madison County Mountaineers built a big lead against Stonewall Jackson-Quicksburg, leading 35-7 at the break. Dustin Kirby has three touchdown passes in the first half. The domination continued in the second half and Madison rolled to a 48-7 win.
At Culpeper James Monroe had a 6-0 lead over Culpeper at the end of the first quarter, then really opened it up in the second. The Yellow Jackets scored 29 points in a four-minute stretch to lead 35-0 at the half. At the end of the third quarter it was 42-0.
At King George Eastern View’s Simon Pendleton had nearly 200 yards of total offense in the first half and scored three touchdowns to lead the Cyclones to a 21-7 lead over King George at the break.
At Louisa The Orange County Hornets were able to kick a field goal as time ran out in the first half, but Louisa led 7-3. Orange put together a touchdown drive with 7:00 left in the game to take a 10-7 lead.
The Lions scored to take a 13-10 lead late in the fourth quarter, but Orange drove the ball and Hunter Ferguson kicked another last-second field goal to send it to overtime tied 13-13.
