Junior Legion team knocks the ball around in close loss to Louisa

The American Legion Post 330 junior baseball team hit the road for a game against Louisa and fell 9-8 despite an impressive offensive performance.

Aaron Raiford led Post 330 from the plate going 4-for-5 with a double, a triple and three RBIs. Charlie Peavely went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI, John East finished 3-for-5 with three RBIs and Ryan Howington went 2-for-5 with an RBI.

Ben Pittman got the start for Post 330 and went three innings with two strikeouts and no walks before East relieved him and went four innings allowing one walk and striking out three. Peavely pitched the final two innings, striking out two.
