Finally, no reruns
Didn’t February used to be sweeps month? What happened to that? CBS’s Monday evening comedy lineup wasn’t new for most of the month, only putting out one new HIMYM episode and maybe two BBT episodes. That’s what made tonight’s return so much sweeter, even though they’ll likely go in hiatus due to March Madness in a few weeks.
BBT followed more of Sheldon’s weird traits, especially the fact he can sit in only one spot. As Penny says, he’s a “wackadoo.“ But the bigger news was Wolowitz hooking up with Leslie Winkle (Sara Gilbert.) Hopefully this means Gilbert will stick around for a few episodes, she adds an interesting biting wit to the show.
HIMYM introduced Barney’s “family.“ His mom, his wife and his son Tyler. This left myself and fellow HIMYM enthusiast Ron Counts scratching our heads. How was Barney hiding a family, we thought. I bet Ron a Coke it was all “skit.“ And now I’m the proud owner of said cold beverage. Turns out his wife and son were actors Barney hired so his mom would think he had the perfect life. But it soon falls apart and Barney is left to reveal his lie. Which helps to further the Barney/Robin love story. I’m expecting to come to a head at the season finale. Stay tuned…
