Idol prediction: Allison gets the most votes
Yo Slash hasn’t aged a day since the days of Guns N Roses. He looked exactly the same as the mentor on last night’s “American Idol.“ Maybe the truth is behind his shades.
My girl Allison was all truth and beauty with her version of Janis Joplin’s “Cry Baby.“ Allison has the most beautiful alto voice and I’m going to go out on a ledge and say she gets the most votes tonight. LOVED IT!
Okay okay everyone quiet down. Adam was good too. His Zeppelin performance was pretty killer. Hard to believe no one’s every sang Led Zeppelin on Idol before. Progress! So yeah Adam was good, but not as good as the original. Sorry. And I don’t think he’s as mainstream as everyone thinks. Remember, he was in the bottom three last week.
We’ll see.
Poor Danny was really bad last night—not a rock singer. Like Simon said, it was a horror show. Made me cringe. Randy was the funniest: “It wasn’t perfect or that great.“ Which is it, dawg?
Chris, on the other hand, was decent, singing The Beatles’ “Come Together.“ Disclaimer: I have Beatlemania right now because I recently saw “Let It Be” on the big screen. Talk about killer musicians. Talk about Paul, my heartthrob.
So my view of things could be a bit skewed. Based on last night, Danny should go home. But based on their total collection of performances, Chris should be out.
